Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 26 August 2026
Twoly Pro is a subscription. This page tells you, in plain terms, how to cancel, when you can get money back, and — honestly — when you can't, because the answer depends on a rule that isn't ours: Apple and Google take the payment, so Apple and Google run the refund.
Operated by Xspark LLP, LLPIN LLPIN, REGISTERED_OFFICE, India. Contact: xsparkllp@gmail.com.
1. The one thing to understand first
You did not pay Xspark LLP directly. You paid Apple (on an iPhone/iPad) or Google (on Android), because the app stores require all in-app subscriptions to go through them. That's why we can't just reverse a charge from our side — we never had your money in our account in a way we can refund, and we never see your card or UPI details. Refunds are processed by the store, using the store's policy.
We can still help — see §5 — but the mechanics live with the store, and we won't pretend otherwise.
2. There's a free trial, so you can decide before paying
The yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial. During the trial:
- You are not charged.
- Cancel any time before the trial ends and you pay nothing. This is the intended way to try Pro risk-free.
- If you don't cancel, the trial converts to a paid year automatically when it ends.
We deliberately lead with a trial instead of a hard-to-get refund, because the honest way to let someone try a subscription is to not charge them yet.
3. Cancelling (stops future charges)
Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for. Cancelling is not the same as a refund of the current period — see §4.
- iPhone/iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Twoly → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Play Store → profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Twoly → Cancel.
Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel through the store, or it keeps renewing. (This trips people up constantly — it's not a trick, it's how the stores work.)
4. Refunds
4.1 Apple (iOS)
Apple handles all iOS refunds through its own process, at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple does not grant developers the ability to issue an App Store refund. Apple considers each request case by case. If Apple asks us to confirm something on your behalf, we will confirm it honestly and quickly.
4.2 Google (Android)
- Within 48 hours of purchase: you can usually request an automatic refund yourself in the Play Store, or at play.google.com/store/account.
- After 48 hours: the request comes to us, and we approve refunds generously for genuine cases — see §4.3. We can authorise Google Play refunds, and we will.
4.3 When we'll always push for a refund
Whatever the store's default, we will support a refund — and on Android grant one — in these cases:
- You were charged after cancelling, or double-charged.
- A trial you cancelled in time was charged anyway.
- Pro didn't work — you paid and a Pro feature genuinely failed, and we couldn't fix it in a reasonable time.
- An accidental or unauthorised purchase, for example by a family member, reported reasonably promptly.
- You cancelled within 48 hours, barely used Pro, and simply changed your mind. We're not going to make you fight over a week's worth of chai money.
Email xsparkllp@gmail.com with the date, the platform, and roughly what happened. You don't need the order ID — we can find the purchase.
4.4 When a refund usually isn't due
Being straight with you so nobody feels tricked:
- Most of a term already used. If you subscribed nine months ago, used Pro all year, and ask for a full refund in month eleven, that generally isn't granted — you had the thing you paid for. We may still refund a fair portion of clearly unused time; ask.
- "I forgot to cancel" long after renewal. The trial and the reminders exist so this is rare, but if it just happened and you barely used it, see §4.3 — we're reasonable. If it was months ago, it's harder.
- You broke the Terms and we closed your account. No refund in that case.
4.5 Your statutory rights are untouched
Nothing here removes any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable law. If a law where you live gives you a stronger refund right than this page, that law wins. This policy is a floor on how we behave, not a ceiling on your rights.
5. How we help even though the store holds the money
- We'll tell you exactly which button to press and where.
- On Android, we can and do authorise refunds directly for the cases in §4.3.
- On iOS, we'll back your request to Apple and confirm the facts Apple asks about.
- If a store unfairly refuses a request that clearly falls under §4.3, tell us — we'll escalate it with the store on your behalf.
6. If we shut Twoly down
If we ever discontinue Twoly, we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid subscription and give you at least 30 days' notice first. That's a promise in the Terms §9, repeated here so it's where you'd look for it.
7. How long refunds take
Once a refund is approved, the store processes it. Apple and Google typically take a few business days to a couple of weeks to return money to your original payment method, depending on your bank, UPI provider, or card issuer. That timing is the store's and your bank's, not ours.
